All Emerald needs to do is use Aire Tam Storm on Ruby to take off a goddamned load of hp and absorb it for itself. I pissed all over Ruby when I played, but Emerald's just too fucking hard without that final attack materia. (It's best to equip Yuffie with 4xcut and the Conformer; she'll sap 39996 offa emerald this way)

The strange thing is... Emerald was MUCH easier for me than Ruby. It wasn't even a competition. After like 4 tries to kill emerald weapon I killed him and he only hit me ONCE the whole time with air tam storm and that was all the damage to me he did the entire fight. Ruby on the other hand took several dozen tries to do and the fight that I killed it in was over an hour long and pretty close. I guess we will never know which is tougher. It probably depends on the characters used and materia equipped:)
